Botulinum Toxin A Provides New Cosmetic Surgery Usage

Come on, you haven’t heard of Botulinum Toxin A. You know you haven’t. I mean, we hadn’t even heard of it until reading this news article over at Community Advance Web today. Then again, we’re not practicing plastic surgeons. But, yes, Botulinum Toxin A is pretty much a protein and neurotoxin, or more commonly referred to as Botox (ah, there’s the ticket).

For years the toxin has been applied to a variety of medical applications: to treat vocal cord spasms to lower back pain to even assist with urinary incontinence. But now it’s being applied to new uses, such as a “Non-Surgical LIFT” aka as a face sculptor.

Botox Treatment

Injections are made to lift eyebrows to make eyes look larger, to upturn noses and – let’s say you have a smile that shows too much of your gums – well, with this new Botox treatment your lips can be upturned at the corners to give you a more amiable smile.

If you suffer from excessive sweating (be it in the face, scalp, palms, etc.) the toxin can treat the condition. If you suffer from oily skin and/or acne, you could benefit from it too.

Respected surgeons like Hawaii Vein, who deal in laser liposuction and even tattoo removal, are now adapting the toxin to fit their services.
